At the end of 2002, after the sudden closing of GTR (a former BMW forum), a void was created in the Houston BMW community. With the need to fill that gap, 7 enthusiasts got together and created what we now call BavarianSPEED - The Ultimate Experience in Bavarian Performance. Established in January 2003, we have sustained continued growth through the support of automotive aficionados such as you.

As we have grown, our original objective has not been lost, but expanded: to provide a haven for BMW, MINI and Mercedes-Benz fanatics. No longer just a forum, our services have grown to include: a full-featured online haven providing the latest news and information, a showcase for members to show off their ride, BavSPEED-specific social events and co-hosting of events with other local automotive clubs (e.g. Houston chapter of the BMWCCA, CooperSpeed.com, EuropeanAG.com, etc), and much more, as we continually try to improve your experience.
